More than 30 stalls will be installed at the Panucho Fair 2023 in the La Ermita neighborhood as part of the events that will be held for the White Night of Mérida ‘Arte a Tope’.
The 2022 edition was a complete success, where it is expected that for this new date the figure recorded last year for the sale of panuchos and number of diners will be exceeded.
Panucho is a typical southern dish, very popular between Campeche and Mérida. The traditional panucho consists of a corn tortilla with a small cut on the edge and filled with strained beans. Once this is done, it is fried in oil or butter.
Shcedules and prices
As part of the White Night ‘Arte a Tope’ in Mérida, the Panucho Fair 2023 will be held next Friday, November 24, where a large influx of people is expected starting at 7:00 p.m.
The sale of this dish will be in charge of 30 stalls with prices of 17 pesos each, with ingredients such as egg, cochinita pibil, black filling, turkey, chicken and cheese.
La Ermita Park will repeat as the venue for the 2023 Panucho Fair in Mérida at 7:00 p.m., where other White Night events will also take place.
