The federal government published a video on social networks indicating that it has successfully begun the dynamic tests of the Mayan Train.
In the content you can see the “Chimbal” train, which is the standard train of regular service that will allow daily travel through the stations of this priority work of the six-year term of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Likewise, it has been indicated that the first transfer of the tm001 was successful and left Cancun for Valladolid, which was the prelude to the tour that the president will give aboard the Mayan Train this September 1st.
AMLO will give a short reconnaissance tour aboard the Mayan Train at the stations of San Francisco Campeche, Chichén Itzá and Cancún.
The federal government expropriated 45 properties in Yucatan and Quintana Roo where the construction of Section 4 of the Mayan Train will continue. This occurred hours before the president witnessed the first mechanical test.
Regarding the above, the Official Gazette announced that the amount of land that has been expropriated consists of 206,123 square meters of surface.
Likewise, it has been detailed that the 45 properties that will be used belonged to private property and which are located in the municipalities of Sudzal, Kantunil, Tinum, Uayma, Valladolid and Chemax in the state of Yucatán and Puerto Morelos in the state of Quintán Roo.
It should be remembered that the Mayan Train project is the main work carried out in the administration of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
This work is 525 kilometers long and will cross Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo, in addition to connecting the main tourist areas of the Yucatán Peninsula.
On repeated occasions, President AMLO has indicated that the main objective of this work is to increase the economic flow in the southern part of the country through the arrival of more jobs and tourists.
Due to the above, the Ministry of Agrarian Development has indicated that the lands chosen for the construction of the next section of the Mayan Train will be occupied as soon as possible.
Therefore, Fonatur, Fonatur Tren Maya, S.A. de C.V. and the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development must coordinate to cover the authorized budget.
