These days more garbage is seen on the streets of Mérida, Yucatán, as the collection service has relaxed both this weekend and the previous one, at least, for inhabitants of the Xcalachén and Panteón Florido area.
This weekend no one took on the task of removing the garbage from the houses located in that southern sector of Mérida.
More garbage in Mérida, what’s wrong with the collection service?
The next day for the garbage collection service in those colonies is Tuesday. Therefore, the garbage will remain at the doors of the houses until that day.
The same thing happened last week. Street animals have a long time to break the bags in search of food and spread it, which worsens the situation.
Dissatisfied with the collection service, they have expressed that they see more garbage in Mérida, despite the phone calls everything remains the same on the street and it will get worse.
