Crews of workers work on weeding the facilities, which until a few days ago had overgrown weeds.
In the area you can see people sweeping and loading trucks, where garbage and weeds are loaded to remove it from the place.
When does the Xmatkuil 2023 Fair start?
As we reported, the 49th edition of the Xmatkuil Fair will take place from November 10 to December 3, when it will open its doors to the public daily from 8 in the morning to 2 in the morning.
It is expected that in the next few days the first trucks with rides and merchandise will arrive to settle on the site and prepare the commercial stands.
The exterior of the area and the access roads still need to be cleaned, for example, the one that connects the extension of South 42nd Street with the access to the premises.
In a few days the activity will increase with the preparations of the various establishments.
Xmatkuil Fair 2023: Livestock Expo and collective wedding
Many details about the activities of the traditional Yucatan fair have not yet been revealed, but it is known that on December 2 the Civil Registry will once again hold a collective wedding at the facilities.
Hundreds of couples of different ages will be able to unite in marriage that day, free of charge and with the presence of Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal.
It is also known that the Brahaman National Livestock Fair will begin on Friday, November 10, the opening date of the fair, and will last a week, as anticipated a few days ago by Esteban Abraham Macari, president of the Eastern Regional Livestock Union. State (Ugroy).
