Secondary school principal in Yucatan suspended for order the poisoning of dogs

The principal Leidy del Llano Sansores has been suspended from her position after ordering the poisoning of seven dogs that lived in Secondary Technical School 14 in Yucatán.

According to national media, it was since last March when teacher Rosalía Argáez reported the deaths of the animals. As a result, Lucy López, the leader of the Animal Welfare Foundation, filed a complaint with the General Justice Prosecutor’s Office against Llano Sansores. “We are waiting for the investigations to conclude, and for the case to be passed to the judge to issue a sentence,” said the leader.

The investigation will determine whether the school’s director is involved as well as Physical Education teacher, who allegedly provided the poison to kill the puppies.
