The buses, with a capacity for 80 passengers and space for luggage, will operate from 6:45 a.m. to 11 p.m.
During the first week of November, the new tourist transport route will officially begin to roll, which includes from the airport of the city of Mérida, the hotel zone, the Historic Center, Paseo Montejo, and the first bus terminal, to line up from new account to the air terminal.
After a month of testing, the Mobility ADO company has everything ready to start next week with a premium service, designed for passengers who arrive in the city by air and need to travel to the heart of Mérida.
Last September, the company ADO started the circuit in a pilot way and free for 30 days, to know the opinion of travelers and airport personnel of this service, which has allowed to adjust times, points of the route, as well as the critical hours of the arriving passengers, accumulate at the air terminal.

On his occasion, Eduardo Córdoba Balbuena, regional manager of Mobility of ADO, reported that the service will be in Scania model buses, with a capacity for 80 passengers, with 3 doors, air conditioning, and a lift ramp for people with different abilities, will have space for luggage and will operate from 6:45 in the morning to 11 at night.
During the month of October, the company finalized administrative details, training of its personnel, and conditions for the start of the route that will start on November 1.
The State Government, through the Sefotur and Imdut agencies, conducted a survey among travelers to find out their opinions on the use, operation, times, and conditions of the service.
The test service operated for 30 days with specific stops and a route that includes tourist points up to the Historic Center of Mérida. This service will be of quality and the rate will be determined by the State Government and the Institute of Mobility and Territorial Urban Development (Imdut).
It should be noted that prices are yet to be defined.
