An anti-drug operation in Yucatan led to the arrest of 13 people

Thanks to the collaboration of state and federal authorities in Kanasin. The operation involved the simultaneous raid of three houses on 37-A x 64 street of the Mulchechen III subdivision, where nine men and four women were detained and various drugs were confiscated.

The operation was based on anonymous tips to the C5i of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) of Yucatan, which allowed the agents and prosecutors to collect the evidence and obtain the search warrants from the judge.

The operation was carried out by members of the Mexican Army, Navy Secretariat, National Guard, State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), the State Investigation Police (PEI) and the Canine Unit (K-9) of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), who arrested 13 people suspected of drug dealing.

The authorities reported that in the house with number 478 they found cannabis, methamphetamines, cash, two scales and a notebook with notes; in the house with number 480 they seized cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamines and a gram scale; and in the house with number 484 they secured cocaine, cannabis and methamphetamines.

The authorities did not specify the total amount of the drugs and money seized, they only identified the arrested people for their alleged involvement in the crime as:

The arrested people and the seized product were presented to the control judge who authorized the search warrants. The operation was part of the ongoing effort to combat drug dealing.
