The Mérida Beer and Wine Festival 2025 is set to bring refreshing beverages and a vibrant atmosphere to Yucatán this spring. The family-friendly event promises a mix of drinks, food, and entertainment for all ages.
The festival will take place on Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23, at the Lions Club in the García Ginerés neighborhood, running from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. both days. Organizers have arranged nearby parking for attendees’ convenience.
What to Expect
The event will feature a mixology bar offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, along with an array of snacks. Renowned sommeliers will also be present to share their expertise, offering tips and recommendations to help attendees expand their wine knowledge.
An artistic and cultural program will enhance the experience, with live music and culinary delights prepared by celebrated chefs. A wide variety of national products will also be showcased.
Exhibitors and Highlights
The festival will host 37 exhibitors presenting wine, beer, and mezcal from across Mexico, including states like Zacatecas, Querétaro, Baja California, San Luis Potosí, and Yucatán. According to organizer Roberto Ríos, this is the first free-entry wine and beer event in Mérida, welcoming families to enjoy the festivities without an admission fee.
“The only cost for attendees will be their food and beverages, but it’s an event well worth it, with great music and exhibitors from all over the country,” Ríos stated.
Entertainment Lineup
On Saturday, the Yucatecan band Zona Restrictida will perform, entertaining the crowd with covers of iconic bands like Caifanes and Maná, along with hits from the 80s and 90s, and their own compositions. Sunday will feature the rockabilly band Cassie & The Flyin’ Cats, followed by the “Back to Disco Party” at 5 p.m., where a DJ will keep the energy high during wine and beer tastings.
