On the eve and on the feast of Candelaria, this Sunday, February 1, and Monday, February 2, the ninth National Tamale and Cocoa Fair will be held at the Plaza Fiesta shopping center.
More than 10 types of tamales will be offered, including Metepec style, Tabasco, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Yucatecan, as well as some sweets and an author’s creation.
The program includes the participation of about 20 exhibitors, said Alberto Lavalle, organizer of this fair that has been held in different venues.
Two exhibitors will participate in the event with a variety of desserts, chocolate, and champurrados, among others, to enjoy on the spot and take home, he added at an informative event where they presented this event.
Entrepreneurs with products related to the event, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 7-8 p.m., will also participate.
