The bodies of the couple that were found in a house in the Gran San Pedro Cholul subdivision, were handed over to their relatives, because the alleged perpetrator of the femicide took his own life after committing the crime
MÉRIDA, Yucatán.— The bodies of the couple that were found on a property in the Gran San Pedro Cholul subdivision have already been handed over to their relatives; the case would be closed because the alleged perpetrator of the woman’s death would have taken his own life after committing the crime of femicide.
The results of the autopsy performed on the bodies indicate that the woman, identified as Gabriela T.H., died from mechanical suffocation by strangulation, while Mauricio O.A., the alleged perpetrator of the femicide, took his own life after committing the crime.
In this way, the main line of investigation that the authorities followed from the moment the bodies were found, since hers was wrapped in a white sheet, would be confirmed.
As already stated, the case would be closed since there would be no person to blame for the femicide.
