As you explore our interactive exhibits, you’ll discover 20 hands-on devices that let you experiment with optical phenomena and learn about the physical properties of light. It’s a fun and engaging way to understand the science behind what we see and experience every day.
Our museum is designed to be accessible to everyone, with spaces for intergenerational dialogue between kids and adults. We believe in the power of family bonding through shared learning experiences, which is why nearly half of our visitors are families!
Since its opening on November 1st, 2023, we’ve welcomed over 27,000 visitors from all over! Our international exhibition “The Knowledge of the Invisible” has been a huge hit, showcasing color phenomena and their scientific, cultural, and artistic significance.

Yucatec residents: $50.00 MXN
National tourists: $60.00 MXN
Foreign visitors: $100.00 MXN
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
