According to accounts shared by local neighbors, a man allegedly took advantage of a homeowner’s absence to visit a woman. However, the husband returned home earlier than expected, prompting the supposed visitor to panic and hide inside a rooftop water storage tank.
The improvised hiding plan seemed to work initially, but the intense regional heat quickly turned the storage container into a literal boiling water bath. After enduring several minutes inside, muffled cries for help began to echo from the tank, and the man ultimately had to be pulled out of his unusual hiding spot.
To add to the absurdity of the situation, upon emerging from the tank, the man reportedly claimed that he was simply “fixing a water leak”—an explanation that failed to convince anyone present.
