The driver of a flatbed semi died burned on the Mérida-Cancún highway, Yodznot-Pisté section.
The events occurred on the aforementioned stretch of road, when the driver of the heavy truck was driving on said road, but for reasons that are unknown up to now, he lost control of his steering wheel.
When he lost control of the steering wheel, he went off the road until he overturned, unfortunately the cabin of the semi caught fire, trapping his driver who lost his life burned.
People who noticed the acident informed the SSP authorities who arrived at the site along with firefighters who put out the fire.
