The event features conductor Alondra Alcocer and special participation by double bassist Francisco Basulto and percussionist Carmen Maldonado. The program includes works by Mendietta / Roberto Abraham Mafud, Sonata op. 11 / Manuel López, Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra No. 2 / Giovanni Bottesini, and Polacca from The Barber’s Dream / David Winkler.
