The Centro Cultural Olimpo in Mérida is set to host an enchanting evening of music with the acclaimed guitarist Manuel Espinás.
Scheduled for July 17 at 8 p.m., this family-friendly event promises to be a celebration of the guitar and its music. With tickets priced at $200 for general admission, attendees can expect a night filled with the rich, melodious sounds of classical guitar, all within the culturally significant setting of the Olimpo Cultural Center.
The concert will include works from the Baroque period, sonatas by Carlos Seixas and a suite by Bach.
Manuel Espinás studied music at the Superior Institute of Art in his hometown, La Habana. A naturalized Mexican citizen since 2004, he has been actively performing as a concert guitarist and lecturer. He has presented concerts in Spain, Italy, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Uruguay, Argentina, the United States, and Cuba.
