Get ready for the sweetest party of the summer! On August 5th, from 10am to 10pm, La Mejorada Park will be filled with delicious treats at the very first Heladiza Fest!
Organizer Jessica Marín is super excited about this event, which will feature over 100 unique flavors of ice cream from more than 30 exhibitors. From classic favorites to gourmet innovations, there’s something for everyone! And, as an added bonus, the festival is expected to generate a significant income for all participating vendors.
“We’re expecting a revenue of around $800,000 to $1.5 million, which will not only benefit the participating vendors but also the entire supply chain involved, including those renting out tents, tables, and plates,” Jessica explained.
But it’s not just about the ice cream – there will be plenty of artistic activities too! Expect live music performances from local bands who are making a name for themselves in the music scene. And, to make it even sweeter, the festival will also be raising money for the Lupus and Rheumatic Diseases Association of Yucatán, which supports people affected by these conditions.
