Renovation and construction works will be inaugurated in Yucatán during the months of August and September.
During President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s morning conference, the dates for the inauguration of several pending projects by the federal government in collaboration with the government of Mauricio Vila Dosal were announced.
It should be noted that several projects are currently underway in Yucatán, including the construction of three hospitals and renovation works.
Additionally, several complementary works of the Tren Maya are pending and will be inaugurated along with the full start of its operations before September 15, a project that also benefits Yucatán.
Diego Prieto, General Director of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), reported on the Archaeological Zones Improvement Program (PROMEZA), stating that the works in Oxkintok are being completed and will be delivered in the last week of July and the first week of August.

In Uxmal, the works are expected to be delivered before September 15, while the new museum on the Puuc Route will be delivered on December 30. In Xlapac and Chacmultún, the works will be completed on August 31.
In Dzibilchaltún, the research work has been completed, and the infrastructure works will be completed in August, while the museum will open on September 15.
Similarly, the third stage of the Ateneo Peninsular works in the center of Mérida will be completed on September 12.
Blas Andrés Núñez Jordán, head of the Coordinating Operations Center (CCO) of the Tren Maya, indicated that the Nuevo Uxmal Park in the archaeological zone will be inaugurated on September 7, along with the hotel in this tourist site, which complements the Tren Maya.
The Kukulcán baseball stadium in Mérida will also be inaugurated on September 30, following renovation works.
Section 3 of the Tren Maya moved more than 73,000 passengers in seven months.
Governor Mauricio Vila also informed that the IE-TRAM will begin operations on August 3 on the route connecting La Plancha with Umán.
Additionally, the renovation works of the Plaza Grande in Mérida are expected to be delivered by the end of August.
Other projects still pending include the Ticul Hospital, which is 54% complete, the Naval Hospital of Progreso, which is 70% complete, and the Agustín O’Horán Hospital, which is 45% complete.
