With a tribute to the men and women of the American continent, who carry the cultural and spiritual heritage of Mother Earth, master Juan Pablo Bavio presents eight works from his collection “Roots and Faces”.
“These lives marked by history reflect the richness of our culture; each wrinkle is a symbol of strength, a living chronicle of the identity of our peoples,” mentioned the artist during his message.
The exhibition, located in the gallery of the airport’s waiting lounge, invites viewers to connect with shared humanity and reflect on the value of these elderly women, who often go unnoticed but are fundamental to social and cultural cohesion among communities.
“With this work, we will welcome many visitors who will arrive at our state this summer,” said Lic. Héctor Navarrete Muñoz, Director of Regional Airports for ASUR. “We will continue working to promote art and tourism, and during these holidays, we will do so with three simultaneous exhibitions in different areas of the airport.”
The ceremony was attended by Airport Administrator Lic. Oscar Carrillo Maldonado and representatives from the airport community. This exhibition becomes the 561st in 28 years of the gallery, promoting the talent of Yucatán’s plastic artists.
