The company Aero Flag will operate the Cuernavaca-Ciudad del Carmen-Mérida flight in July.
Starting in early July, a new route will connect Cuernavaca, Ciudad del Carmen, and Mérida, operated by Aero Flag, based in the state of Morelos. If all goes as planned, this charter airline will contribute to the tourism development of the Maya region while supporting the Tren Maya railway system, bringing tourists from the southern region of the country.
Aero Flag already operates routes to Huatulco, Oaxaca, as well as Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Acapulco, Los Cabos, Monterrey, Tijuana, Houston, Dallas, and even Havana.
According to gathered data, the company operates jet aircraft with a capacity for 100 passengers, and the Cuernavaca-Ciudad del Carmen-Mérida flight would be daily. Although the exact schedules are yet to be defined by the competent authorities, the intention is to begin operations at the start of next month.
