Va y Ven, Ie-Tram and Conventional Buses Services Resume Operation.

Once Tropical Storm Beryl left Yucatecan territory, the Yucatán Transportation Agency (ATY) reported the resumption of transportation services in Mérida, the metropolitan area, and the rest of the state.

After assessing damage and following established protocols coordinated with Yucatan Civil Protection (PROCIVY), all routes of the Va y Ven Ie- Tram system, Night Routes, and conventional buses will be restored starting at 6 pm today, Friday.

The agency noted that the circuits of Comisarias, routes in the municipalities of Valladolid and Tizimín, as well as foreign service and connections to the Mayan Train will not operate today, Friday.

However, it highlighted that services will resume normally from tomorrow Saturday, July 6th, at the usual hour. The agency also added that “users can now make card “recargas” at the 39 Va y Ven automated cash machines in Mérida and the metropolitan area.
