Elected Governor of Yucatan meets with military commanders

The newly elected Governor of Yucatan, Huacho Díaz Mena met with regional military leaders and assured that they will maintain a close relationship of total respect and collaboration with the incoming government.

They also confirmed that they would continue contributing to tasks aimed at preserving peace and tranquility for all Yucatecans. In a context of total respect and coordination, the relationship between the incoming Yucatan Government and the Ministry of National Defense will be maintained, according to Governor-elect Huacho Díaz Mena.

The meeting reaffirmed the military’s commitment to contributing to tasks aimed at preserving peace and tranquility in Yucatan.

Diaz Mena thanked and recognized the work that the armed forces have done so far. He reiterated his commitment to Yucatecan citizens not only to preserve but also to improve security in the state.

He stated that over the next six years, there will be a close coordination with all the armed forces to strengthen security in the entity.
