Drug enforcement agents from federal and state forces seized illegal substances and accessories used for their storage and sale yesterday in a building located on Calle 96 x 193 in Dzununcán, south of Mérida.
As a result of ongoing investigations and operations against drug trafficking, a search warrant was executed at the premises. Inside the building, authorities confiscated cannabis, (crack) cocaine, and methamphetamines, as well as scales, pots, and food containers containing drugs, and an electricity bill.
The joint operation involved personnel from the Army, Navy, National Guard, Yucatan State Attorney’s Office, State Police Investigation Unit of the Public Security Secretariat, and Canine Unit.
